Family-run Business

Best Bike Box Hire is a family-run business led by Paula and Carl. Paula manages the day-to-day operations and oversees all logistics, while Carl, who owns Ramsbottom Cycles, is well-known in the cycling and triathlon community for his exceptional bike expertise. Together, they’re a busy family with four wonderful children.

Best Bike Box Hire also proudly supports local professional triathlete Ben Akin, who has made impressive strides in the sport, going pro within four years. A significant win at the Challenge Almere European Long Distance earned Ben his professional license. With the support of Best Bike Box Hire, Ben was able to transport his bike safely to Holland for this career-defining event.

He packs your bike and will run through exactly what you need to do at the other end to set it up ready to train or race, including photos and video where applicable, all the tools you need are included too. From opening the box I can have the bike ready to ride in 20mins following Carls instruction and I have very limited technical ability!
